Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of the death of my Mom...
Here is a collection of sayings and poems that I have saved over the years to express the overwhelming grief that I face every day.

Loved with a love beyond all telling, Missed with a grief beyond all tears, To the world she was one, To us she was all the world.

They say that there is a reason, They say that time will heal, But neither time nor reason, Helps the emptiness I feel. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day, Missing you is a heartache, That never goes away. To me you were so special, What more is there to say, Except to wish with all my heart, That you were here today.

Two years ago you left us
In tears we saw you sinking
We watched you fade away
You suffered much in silence
Our hearts were almost broken
You fought so hard to stay
You faced your task with courage
Your spirit did not bend
But still you kept on fighting
Until the very end
God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be
So He put His arms around you And whispered "Come to Me"
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
