We built a bear!!....

Our Baby-sitter for the last 5 years retired (after 34 years) on Friday June 30.
The girls and I went to the Oshawa Centre to the Build-a-bear workshop and created a little friend for Pat as a token of our thanks for looking after them. Wow!!...what an experience...first you choose your bear and then you can put a sound in it if you like (of course its extra $$) and then you stuff the bear. The girls had a blast with that. Then you choose a little heart to put inside the bear. The girls each put a little heart inside. Then we chose the clothes for the bear. We chose a little white t-shirt with a butterfly on it with a denim skirt and pink thong sandals. We gave her a name too. We wanted something that would remind Pat of the girls. So we called her "Bella Coley Jenna"....she has her own birth certificate too. If Bella gets lost, you return her to any build-a-bear shop and the scan her and mail her back to me and I can make sure Pat gets her back. I would highly reccommend at least once in your life to do this workshop. It was a great experience!!!!

And very much well worth it too. Pat was a wonderful babysitter and the girls and I will miss her.
Now the girls have a new full time babysitter. Closer to home for us. Nancy is awesome!! I know the girls will be well taken care of just as they were at Pat's......
