Trick or Ttreat....

What would you do for a treat??

Once in public school, we went out as "Miami Mice" and had to do a trick to get candy at one house along our route.

So, being a smart little mouse, I read the guy his rights...(I was totally in character)

You have the right to remain silent.

If you give up that right anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

You have the right to an attorney

If you cannot afford one

One will be provided for you.

Do you understand these rights as I have told you??

He gave us all extra treats.....

Report Cards

Ok, I can remember back to when I was in school and I hated report cards...So being asked to come in for an interview for Nicole so that we arent shocked by her report card when it comes home scared me a little. They still grade the kids as we were back then, A's, B's, C's and D's-I dont think they give E's anymore, its now classified as an R for Remedial. So, Nicole has a few C's-and a few D's and a couple of R's. We have been told that it might to her benefit to have her tested for a learning disibility. It has been suggested that we have her tested for a Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CScentral auditory processing (CAPD) and when I phoned to find out about it, one clinic has already said they will not test her until she is well into her 6th year.....a road block already, and I have only just begun!!!

Just as our mothers were before us....

these girls are cousins...how many times removed remains a mystery. Truth be told, I would say that it might be something like....oh I dont know....the 2 middle girls are my 4th cousins??.....their grandma was my mom's first cousin. Figure that one out and get back to me will ya???

A happy family...

This was taken this morning outside a small Bed and Breakfast we stayed in while attending my cousin Sandi's wedding in Ailsa Craig.

This little house was every little girls dream. My two have already asked for one of their very own!! It was simply huge inside too!!!
